Since this is our very first blog post, we thought we would start by telling you a little bit about ourselves. Let us start by saying that students are at the heart of everything we do. Our main goal is to improve the quality of education for students around the globe.

We are a global community of teachers who have experience teaching first grade students in various settings around the globe. Despite our varying instructional approaches, we have many things in common. Let's start with the obvious...

• We all teach or have taught first grade students.
• Our students are at the heart of all our work, and we learn from them just as they learn from us.
• We love learning and trying new things with our students.
• We are creative problem solvers, and work in collaboration.

We know that teachers often lack the resources and materials they need. We know this because we have experience teaching just like you. That's why we're here - to share resources and strategies to help improve the quality of education of students around the world. We look forward to collaborating with you.

Our vision is to support first grade teachers by making the resources and materials they need for their classrooms readily available at their fingertips. Our mission is to provide an effective collaborative space for first grade teachers to share and learn together as a united global community.
